The Sunon Super Green Fan, an energy-saving fan that integrates five innovative designs, adopts the energy-saving characteristics of a 3-phase inner rotor motor and combines it with the most efficient blade design and a superior sealed motor structure. The end product achieves the following 5 green goals: high efficiency, low power consumption, low vibration, low noise, and long life. The Sunon patented Super Green Fan can be broadly applied to servers, server power supplies, workstations, and memory cases that are used in network communication. The fan can also be extended to industrial facilities, home appliances, OA products, and other industries that have cooling needs.     SG Design 1: Use of 3-phase Energy-saving Motor→Increases Motor Efficiency  
 
 The Super Green Fan is powered by a Sunon patented motor which has the characteristics of a 3-phase motor: low energy consumption, high torque, and low vibration. The motor can efficiently decrease energy consumption of the cooling system. When the motor has low energy consumption and low temperature, its life is correspondingly increased, which in turn prolongs the life cycle of the system.
 
    SG Design 2: Patented Inner Rotor Motor→High Operation Stability  
 

 An inner rotor motor design is employed to secure the fan’s permanent magnet on the outside of the shaft. This special structural design allows the rotor to operate with a lower rotating mass because less parts are used and thus weight is reduced. The speical low-weight fan design can effecitvely reduce the load during operation. High operation stability can decrease both vibration impact to the system as well as the noise produced during fan operation and hence achieve superior performance of low vibration and low noise.

 
    SG Design 3: Optimal Efficient Blade Design→Increases Air Flow Channel & PQ Performance  
 

 The optimal channel and guide structure are accurately evaluated to design the most efficient fan blade according to fluid dynamics principles. By decreasing fan motor and increasing the blade area to create more air flow and centralized air flow, the fan’s overall cooling efficiency is significantly improved to create maximum value.

 
    SG Design 4: Sealed Motor Structure → Reinforces Water/Dust Resistance & EMI Protection  
 

 Superior sealed-motor structure offers higher air flow and static pressure to satisfy the cooling need of multiple server clusters and communication equipments, and at the same time reduces noise produced during operation. In addition to preventing EMI and reinforcing protection of precision equipment, this design also has exellent water and dust resistance.

 
    SG Design 5: Superior Bearing Temperature Conduction Design → Prolongs Fan Life  
 

 Innovative, patented inner rotor structure can conduct the bearing’s accumulated temperature away from the sealed bearings and through the metal motor case, where it can then be cooled by air convection. This dramatically increases cooling efficiency and prolongs the life of bearing and fan. For equipment that operates 24-hours a day, the Super Green Fan bearing temperature conduction design can prolong the system’s life.
