SUNON Responds to Earth Hour 2026 & for Earth Sustainability

2026.03.24

SUNON invites all employees to join the “Earth Hour” lights-off campaign and take concrete action to support energy conservation and carbon reduction, doing our part to protect the environment. Earth Hour is not only a global environmental initiative, but also a symbol of the shared commitment of businesses and the public toward a sustainable future. Through this event, we hope to raise greater awareness of climate change, energy use, and environmental protection, while encouraging everyone to start making changes in daily life so that small actions can add up to a powerful force for sustainable development.

As a company that values corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability, SUNON believes that real change begins with the participation of every individual. Turning off the lights for one hour is not only a tangible way to save energy, but also a meaningful expression of our care and commitment to the future of the planet. It shows that sustainability is more than just a slogan—it is an action that can be practiced in both our work and daily lives.

To date, this campaign has helped save a total of 1.828 million kWh of electricity and reduce carbon emissions by 955,585 kilograms—equivalent to planting 86,871 twenty-year-old trees. Nearly 600 companies and organizations, along with close to 1,000 salon businesses, have participated, setting a new historical high and fully demonstrating the power and impact of collective action for sustainability.

SUNON sincerely invites everyone to join Earth Hour on March 28 by turning off the lights for one hour. Let’s start by switching off a single light, do our part for the planet, and work together to create a brighter and more sustainable future.
