SUNON established its business headquarters in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and has set up overseas branches and offices in Europe, the United States, Japan, India, and other areas. These, together with its more than 120 distributors worldwide and over 1000 sales & service sites, constitute a large customer service and technical support networks that are located in five continents around the world. In order to provide more prompt replies and more complete services to our clients, SUNON has adopts a comprehensive electronic service system by which our clients' problems are solved to meet their overall needs.
To ensure sufficient capacity for mass-produced parts, SUNON has established professional production facilities in the following locations: Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Kunshan (Jiangsu), China; Beihai (Guangxi), China; and Bataan, Philippines. Having these three above production facilities, SUNON is capable of producing AC, DC fans and motors, cooling models, ventilation fans, and HVLS ceiling fans whose size range is from 0.8cm to 7.3m, as well as a variety of thermal modules. Via ERP and MES systems, SUNON has manufacturing capability with high-quality management skills which can flexibly suit our clients' requirements.

The English trademark of the company, which carries the expectations of President Hong, was finalized to be SUNON at its establishment. The company's name in Chinese literally means “to set up standards” and it was hoped that the company would become an model of the industry. Its English name comes from “Sun On Everyday”, which symbolizes the Sun rising everyday from the East to deliver the company's sustainable business vision. The brand is green in color, which symbolizes the company's commitment to environmental protection and product safety.
